Our experience day packages are physically demanding and have the potential for minor injury. Therefore, please seek advice from your doctor or our booking team if you’re unsure. Be sure to dress accordingly, remembering that in the colder months it can get pretty chilly inside the workshop, despite the fires! Please wear long trousers and suitable footwear. Make sure you follow the guidance on our website and what’s sent to you ahead of the event. And always listen to the instructions of our expert team on the day.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and readiness to learn! Over the course of three days, you’ll have the opportunity to forge your own Bushcraft Knife, Axe, and Flint Striker with the support and guidance of our expert team. Not only will you work as a blacksmith to shape your metal tools, but you’ll also handcraft and fit wooden handles for both your knife and axe. Note: Our Three-Day Bushcraft Experience is available exclusively on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The timings provided are approximate and may vary based on the customer’s capabilities and the specific design requirements. Age Requirements: Participants must be over 18, or if 12-17 years old, must be accompanied by an adult. Duration: 6/7 hours per day

How booking works

Our online booking system is easy to use and allows you to choose a time and date that suits you. Once confirmed, you will receive an email with all the details you need, as well as an important form to complete.

How pricing works

The price of this booking covers one person over three days to make one knife, axe and flint striker. We welcome groups of friends to come and take part together – simply adjust the number of people when making your booking. If you’re buying a voucher, the voucher will entitle the recipient to a three-day session.

The wood included is seasoned ash, however we do stock a variety of exotic woods which can be purchased on the day to elevate your blade or axe to the next level for a further cost.
