Our team of expert blacksmiths is dedicated to preserving the ancient traditions of the craft, with a love and respect for the long heritage of handmade ironmongery, yet using these skills to forge contemporary as well as traditional pieces. Oldfield Forge Beginnings
Oldfield Forge was founded in 2007 by the Heath family, who sought to share their passion for metalwork. Aaron discovered his love for blacksmithing 16 years ago, and since then, he and his skilled team of blacksmiths have been dedicated to producing exceptional bespoke pieces. They collaborate closely with leading architects and designers across the UK, delivering high-quality commission work.
To further spread their enthusiasm for blacksmithing, they introduced hands-on experience days, allowing others to explore this traditional craft. Nicky, Aaron’s wife, has played a pivotal role in growing Oldfield Forge. With her keen business sense, she leads the team in developing innovative ideas while balancing her role as a mother to five children. Their children can often be seen assisting in the showroom on weekends, embodying the family spirit at the heart of Oldfield Forge.
